BLOGGING AND DISINFORMATION: PLATFORM MECHANISMS

Abstract

This article analyzes the mechanisms of disinformation and fake news dissemination through blogging activity on social media. It examines the virality of bloggers’ content, the influence of algorithms, and audience reactions from both theoretical and practical perspectives. Additionally, the study explores platform responsibility, content moderation, and measures to ensure information security. The findings allow for a deeper understanding of disinformation spread via bloggers and platforms and provide the basis for developing effective counter-strategies.
