Abstract
The article examines the pedagogical and methodological foundations of teaching fine arts in primary education. The study analyzes modern approaches, principles, teaching methods, and the structure of art lessons in primary school. Special attention is given to the development of students’ creative abilities, aesthetic perception, and independent thinking. The research highlights the importance of integrating visual, verbal, and practical methods to improve learning outcomes in art education. The findings confirm that systematic and student-centered methodology significantly enhances artistic competence and emotional development in young learners.
