Abstract

This article analyzes the integration of secular sciences into the curriculum of "New Method" schools established by the Jadid movement in Turkestan during the early 20th century. The research examines in detail the pedagogical experiences of the Jadids regarding natural sciences-such as arithmetic, geography, and natural history-as well as language instruction, including the mother tongue, Arabic, and Russian. The article provides a scientific exploration of the views and practical activities of prominent Jadid figures such as Mahmudkhuja Behbudi, Munavvarqari Abdurashidkhanov, Abdulla Avloni, and Fitrat concerning secular education.
