Abstract
This article analyzes the step-by-step procedure for legal protection of industrial property objects and obtaining a patent for them. The study covers the legal framework of the processes from filing an application to state examination and granting a patent. Attention is also paid to the specific aspects of national and foreign legislation and issues of guaranteeing the rights of intellectual property owners.
