PRACTICAL APPROACHES TO INTEGRATING INTERACTIVE TEACHING TOOLS IN TESOL CLASSROOMS: A PEDAGOGICAL AND COMMUNICATIVE PERSPECTIVEE
Abstract
The rapid advancement of educational technologies has significantly transformed teaching practices in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL). This article examines practical approaches to integrating interactive teaching tools in TESOL classrooms with the aim of enhancing learner engagement, communicative competence, and instructional effectiveness. Drawing on communicative language teaching (CLT), task-based language teaching (TBLT), and learner-centered pedagogy, the study analyzes how interactive tools—such as digital platforms, collaborative tasks, multimedia resources, and real-time feedback systems—can be systematically embedded into lesson planning and classroom practice. Through a qualitative analysis of pedagogical frameworks and classroom-oriented applications, the study demonstrates that interactive teaching tools foster meaningful interaction, support skill integration, and promote learner autonomy. The findings suggest that the strategic use of interactive tools is not merely supplementary but constitutes a core component of modern TESOL methodology.
