Abstract

This article examines the investment activities of insurance companies and evaluates their role in enhancing financial stability, profitability, and long-term sustainability. The study analyzes the structure of insurance investment portfolios, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements that influence investment decisions. Particular attention is given to the allocation of assets across financial instruments such as government securities, corporate bonds, equities, and real estate. The analysis also explores the relationship between investment performance and the overall efficiency of insurance operations. Based on comparative insights and empirical findings, the paper identifies key challenges—including market volatility, regulatory constraints, and low-yield environments—and proposes recommendations to improve the investment strategies of insurance companies.
