DEVELOPMENT STRATEGIES OF AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE IN UZBEKISTAN
Abstract
Automobile insurance plays a crucial role in protecting vehicle owners, ensuring road safety, and maintaining financial stability in the transport sector. This study analyzes the current state of the automobile insurance market in Uzbekistan, identifies key challenges, and proposes development strategies. Using statistical analysis, comparative studies, and market surveys, the research evaluates policy coverage, claim efficiency, and regulatory frameworks. Findings show that expanding compulsory and voluntary insurance, implementing digital platforms, and introducing risk-based pricing can significantly enhance market efficiency. Challenges such as low public awareness, limited product diversity, and regulatory gaps remain. Strategic recommendations aim to modernize the sector, increase competitiveness, and improve consumer protection.
