Abstract

The integration of national insurance markets into the global financial system is a key factor in strengthening financial stability, increasing competitiveness, and attracting foreign investment. Uzbekistan has undertaken significant reforms in recent years to modernize its financial sector, including the insurance industry. This study analyzes the current state of Uzbekistan’s insurance market integration into the international financial system and evaluates prospects for attracting foreign investment. The research explores regulatory reforms, foreign participation in the insurance sector, international cooperation, and challenges limiting cross-border expansion. Using comparative analysis and review of regulatory documents, the study finds that improving transparency, aligning with international supervisory standards, and strengthening capital requirements are critical for enhancing investor confidence. The paper concludes that strategic reforms, regional cooperation, and digital innovation will play a decisive role in increasing foreign investment inflows into Uzbekistan’s insurance sector.
