Abstract
Teaching English to non-native speakers involves multifaceted challenges ranging from linguistic and cultural barriers to motivational and pedagogical difficulties. Students often struggle with L1 interference, limited exposure, and differing educational backgrounds. This paper investigates these challenges and proposes comprehensive strategies, including learner-centered and interactive approaches, culturally sensitive practices, and motivation-enhancing methods. Practical classroom interventions and examples are provided to enhance spoken English proficiency, learner confidence, and overall communicative competence.
