Abstract

This paper examines the persistent challenges in developing integrated language skills and subskills among English as a Foreign Language (EFL) learners. It synthesizes empirical and theoretical literature to identify key barriers across listening, speaking, reading, and writing, as well as cross-cutting subskills like vocabulary and pragmatics.
