Abstract
In recent years, regional integration processes have created broad opportunities for establishing mutual economic ties between countries around the world. From this perspective, Southeast Asian countries are increasingly viewed as promising partners in accelerating integration processes in Central Asia and developing interregional cooperation. This article, based on a comparative analysis, examines the state of political, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian relations between the countries of Central and Southeast Asia, identifies factors hindering the rapid development of cooperation, and presents prospects for its improvement in the future.
