THE MANIFESTATION OF CULTURAL DIFFERENCES IN REAL COMMUNICATION
Abstract
This article explores the manifestation of cultural differences in real communication, focusing on how linguistic, pragmatic, and sociocultural factors shape interaction across diverse cultural contexts. Drawing on key concepts from intercultural communication and sociolinguistics, the study analyzes how values, norms, and communication styles influence meaning-making, interpretation, and mutual understanding. Particular attention is paid to differences in verbal and nonverbal behavior, including speech acts, politeness strategies, context dependence (high-context vs. low-context cultures), and the role of implicit versus explicit communication. The findings highlight the importance of developing intercultural communicative competence in a globalized world, where successful interaction increasingly depends on the ability to navigate cultural diversity.
