Abstract

The integration of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) into technical education is paramount for preparing students for a globalized workforce. In the automotive sector, mastery of specialized terminology is not merely a linguistic exercise but a prerequisite for safety, precision, and professional competence. This article explores methodological approaches and instructional techniques for teaching automotive terminology through hands-on, practical sessions. Moving beyond traditional rote memorization, this study advocates for a synergistic blend of Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL), Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT), and multisensory instruction within authentic workshop environments.
