Abstract
This article examines the актуal issue of using computer technologies, in particular virtual laboratories, in the study of biologically active substances of plants and their ecological significance. Biologically active substances of plants, such as glycosides, alkaloids, saponins, phytohormones, phyto-pheromones, and others, have enormous biological and ecological importance not only for the plants themselves but also for other living organisms, and they can also be used in human economic activities.
