Abstract
This article highlights the role and significance of music theory and solfeggio subjects taught in children’s music and art schools within the music education system. The study analyzes how these subjects contribute to the formation of students’ musical literacy, the development of auditory skills, and the improvement of musical thinking and performance abilities. Additionally, pedagogical conditions for the effective organization of music theory and solfeggio lessons, methodological approaches, and their practical outcomes are presented.
