Abstract

This article discusses the issues of using developmental teaching technologies in teaching differential equations in higher education. Problem-based teaching, heuristic methods, and ways of forming mathematical modeling competence are analyzed. Methodical recommendations aimed at developing students' independent and creative thinking abilities have been developed. The proposed methodology includes problem-based teaching, a system of differentiated tasks (reproductive, reconstructive, variative, creative), and the use of modern software packages (MAPLE, MATLAB). This approach serves to develop students' theoretical thinking, form mathematical modeling skills, increase interest in science, and strengthen independent and creative work abilities. The developed practical recommendations help to improve the quality of teaching differential equations in higher education institutions.
