Abstract

This article examines the characteristics of the development of innovative activity of industrial enterprises across regions. In the context of increasing globalization and intensifying competition, innovative activity plays a crucial role in ensuring sustainable economic growth and enhancing industrial competitiveness. The study analyzes the level of innovative activity of industrial enterprises from a regional perspective and identifies the key factors influencing the formation and development of innovative processes. The research methodology is based on comparative and descriptive analysis methods, which made it possible to identify interregional differences and common trends in innovative development[1]. The results of the study reveal that innovative activity develops unevenly across regions, largely due to differences in regional conditions, the level of development of innovative infrastructure, management systems, investment opportunities, and resource availability. Regions with relatively well-developed innovative infrastructure and effective management mechanisms demonstrate higher levels of innovative activity, while in less developed regions innovations are often implemented within the framework of isolated projects. The findings substantiate the necessity of applying a territorial approach to the development of innovative activity in industrial enterprises. The results of the study are of practical significance for developing scientific and policy-oriented recommendations aimed at increasing the innovative activity and competitiveness of industrial enterprises in regions.
