FOREIGN EXPERIENCE IN IMPROVING LABOR PRODUCTIVITY AND ITS APPLICATION IN THE NATIONAL ECONOMY OF UZBEKISTAN
Abstract
Labor productivity is considered one of the key indicators determining the level of economic development, competitiveness, and efficiency of the national economy. In the context of globalization and digital transformation, increasing labor productivity has become one of the strategic priorities of economic policy in many countries. This article analyzes the experience of developed foreign countries in improving labor productivity and evaluates the possibilities of applying these approaches in the economy of Uzbekistan. The study examines the experience of Germany, Japan, the United States, South Korea, and Singapore in the fields of technological modernization, digitalization, human capital development, innovation policy, and management systems. The research also highlights the role of investment, education reforms, artificial intelligence, and modern production technologies in improving labor productivity. Based on international experience and the current economic conditions of Uzbekistan, practical recommendations aimed at increasing labor productivity in the national economy are proposed.
