Synonyms are words or expressions with similar or identical meanings, which play a crucial role in enriching the lexical and stylistic resources of a language. The study explores the types of synonyms, including complete, partial, stylistic, and contextual synonyms, and analyzes their origins from historical, regional, and modern technological influences. The research also discusses the challenges in classifying and using synonyms, emphasizing context, semantic nuance, and stylistic appropriateness. The findings highlight the importance of synonyms for dictionary compilation, language teaching, and enhancing textual expressiveness. Systematic study and practical application of synonyms contribute to the development of lexicology, stylistics, and effective communication in the Uzbek language.
