Abstract
This study examines how crisis perceptions translate into behavioral intentions through underlying cognitive mechanisms. Integrating Protection Motivation Theory and Behavioral Reasoning Theory, the paper demonstrates that beliefs and values act as key mediators between risk perceptions and attitudes, ultimately shaping behavioral intention.
