Abstract
The article discusses the general concepts associated with the design process of the interior space of a catering enterprise (restaurant, cafe, etc.), in the field of design and architecture. The main trends in the development of the planning structure, the ergonomic approach to the design and stylistic solutions of restaurant interiors based on the concept of the institution are revealed.
