Аннотация

The features of the matrix shift of the electron-vibrational bands of the Schumann-Runge transition were investigated for molecules of oxygen in matrices of solid inert gases and nitrogen. A calculation and an analysis of the ground X3Σg− state of oxygen in various matrices was carried out. An attempt was made to describe quantitatively the intermolecular interactions of excited O2 molecules with a cryogenic matrix and also to obtain the characteristics of the excited state B3Σu− of oxygen itself. The parameters were determined of the interaction potentials of the excited impurity O2 with Ar, Kr, and Xe atoms and with molecules of N2 and O*2. The magnitudes of the polarizability and the van der Waals constants, characterizing the excited B3Σu− state of molecular oxygen, were estimated.
