Аннотация
Investigations of the hysteresis of the current-voltage characteristics of thin superconducting films of tin and indium over a wide temperature range are presented. It is shown that under ideal heat transfer conditions, the hysteresis and its temperature dependence agree with the results of Shklovskii's theory according to which the hysteresis is due to superheating of the electrons relative to the lattice.
