Measurements of spin diffusion are performed over the entire range of existence of the bcc phase of He3. Data obtained indicate that at all density values in the low temperature range (T < 1°K) the spin diffusion coefficient Ds is temperature independent (plateau region). The value of Ds in the plateau region is strongly dependent on molar volume, varying as V18, and is proportional to the volume integral J. Values of Ds were measured for the first time in the hcp phase of He3. It is shown that upon the transition bcc-hcp the spin diffusion coefficient decreases by a factor of 2, corresponding approximately to the same change in the exchange integral J.
