Аннотация
Using Peresada’s computational method with a concrete lattice model, we study the lifting of the degeneracy of a quasilocal vibration due to the presence of a heavy isotropic impurity in an anisotropic crystal. Experimentally, this is observed in measurements of the linear expansion of a beryllium–copper alloy.
