Аннотация
Peresada’s method of Jacobi matrices at the microscopic level for a specific crystal-lattice model is used to calculate the effect of a light impurity on the heat capacity of a highly anisotropic crystal. It is shown that owing to the presence of a sharp low-frequency maximum on the vibrational density of a highly anisotropic crystal a light impurity significantly alters its phonon heat capacity at low temperatures.
