Аннотация
It is found that the condensation rate has a significant effect on the structure of beryllium films freshly deposited at helium temperature. It is established that at a low condensation rate (less than 7 Å sec−1) the Be layers have an amorphous structure, while when a condensation rate of ∼9 Å/sec is reached, diffraction from the film is observed. A critical thickness phenomen was also observed. The relationship between the critical superconductivity temperature Tc and the structural state of low temperature Be films is considered.
