Аннотация
It is shown that the evaporation procedure has a significant influence in the superconducting transition temperature of freshly deposited beryllium films. The maximum value, Tc =9.75 °K, is observed for beryllium films (thickness ∼400 Å) obtained from the melt. It is shown that Tc increases smoothly as the film thickness increases for all one-step evaporation techniques. The curve Tc(d) is higher for higher temperatures of the beryllium supply. The superconducting form of beryllium is retained for large thicknesses if the films are formed under strictly controlled conditions.
