Аннотация
The thermal conductivity of 4He single crystals with molar volume about 21 cm3, grown from the superfluid by a new method, has been measured over the temperature range from 0.4 °K to the melting temperature. The temperature dependence of the conductivity of the most perfect crystals in the region of Poiseuille flow of phonons was close to x∼T7. An estimate is made of the possible dislocation density. From the high-temperature results it could be established that the contribution to the conductivity of solid helium, at the molar volume studied, from vacancies did not exceed 10-3W cm-1 °K-1 near the melting temperature.
