Quantum localization of conduction electrons under conditions of magnetic breakdown

A model of an incommensurate system, which appears under conditions of coherent magnetic breakdown, is examined. The spectrum and the form of the localized wave functions of the conduction electrons are found. The transition from the periodic system to the incommensurate system is followed.
