Аннотация
The contribution from the states on the narrow neck of the hole surface of the second zone (the monster) to the isotropic part of the Knight shift Kiso in cadmium has been calculated. Due to the proximity of EF to the point where the Fermi surface topology changes, the behavior of Kiso with increasing temperature and with the addition of magnesium impurities is mainly governed by rearrangement of the electron spectrum due to the Debye–Waller factor, the impurity potential, and to variations in the lattice parameter. The calculated dependences of Kiso on temperature and concentration in Cd100-xMgx alloys are consistent with the experimental results.
