The kinetics of the phase separation of 3He−4He solutions has been studied at T =100 m·K by an NMR method. Specimens of solid helium containing 0.54% 3He and with molar volume 20.55 cm3/mole were investigated. An unusually long time for phase separation was found, which depended on the prehistory of the specimen. In the concentrated phase of the phase-separated solution, the spin diffusion of the 3He exhibits a quasi-one-dimensional character, with a value of the diffusion coefficient characteristic of the liquid.
