Аннотация

The g factors of conduction electrons in palladium and gold are studied theoretically. It is established that for a number of sheets of the Fermi surface of these metals the g factor differs significantly from the free-electron value and exhibits a strong angular dependence for extremal orbits in palladium on the Δ6 sheet and X ellipsoids. The results obtained agree with the data on the de Haas–van Alphen effect and electron paramagnetic resonance.
