Аннотация

The thermal conductivity of solid xenon is investigated for samples with fixed molar volumes. The relative excess of the experimentally obtained values of thermal conductivity over the values calculated by using the λ ∝ 1/T law is found to increase with temperature. The obtained results are compared with appropriately treated data from the literature on isochoric and isobaric thermal conductivities of solid Ar and Kr. The vacancy contribution to thermal conductivity near the melting point is analyzed. Empirical relations describing the thermal conductivity of the inert gases under consideration in the wide range of existence of the solid phase for T ≥ θ art proposed. It follows from a theoretical analysis that the observed deviations from the law λ ∝ 1/T for isochoric variation of thermal conductivity are due to unharmonic renormalization of the phonon dispersion relation for a fixed volume, the main contribution coming from “asymmetric” terms.
