Аннотация
A new magnetoacoustic resonance, predicted by Slutskin and Sharshanov /A. A. Slutskin and A. Ya. Sharshanov, Fiz. Nizk. Temp. 11, 1038 (1985)/ and existing under conditions of a topological reconstruction of electron orbits, has been observed experimentally in gallium and investigated in detail. The resonance line structure is studied and the layer parameters for the open orbits in gallium are determined. The experimental results are found to be in agreement with the existing theory.
