Аннотация

The infrared absorption spectra of crystals of the system KDy(MoO4)2–KY(MoO4)2 are measured in the spectral regions 10–30 cm‒1 and 1200–2000 cm‒1 over the temperature interval 1.6–22 K. It is found that, when Y3+ ions are replaced by the heavier Dy3+ ions in the concentration interval 0 < x < 0.3, the vibrational spectrum acquires a quasilocal impurity mode (ν ∼28 cm‒1) with side bands near the quasilocal vibration peak associated with anharmonism. It is found that the low-frequency region (ν ≲ 30 cm‒1) of the vibrational spectrum of the compounds KDy(MoO4)2 and KY(MoO4)2 reveal a fairly developed structure of the spectral density of vibrational states.
