Аннотация

Results of measurements of thermal conductivity of parahydrogen crystals with neon atom impurity concentration of 0.02 and 0.0045% in the temperature interval 1.5–10 K are presented. The thermal conductivity of impurity crystals is compared with that of a specially prepared and investigated parahydrogen crystal containing 0.05% of the orthomodification. It is found that the thermal conductivity of crystals decreases by more than two orders of magnitude upon the introduction of the impurity. The curves of additional thermal resistance associated with the introduction of the neon impurity have a clearly manifested peak near 4 K which is displaced upwards on the temperature scale with increasing concentration.
