Аннотация
The molar volumes Vm of CO2–Ar solid solutions with an argon concentration c varying between 0 and 100% are measured by using the transmission electron diffraction technique. On the CO2 side, the Vm vs c dependence has a peculiar form of a curve with a peak. A semiquantitative theory proposed for explaining this which takes into account not only the spherical component of interaction between particles in the solution, but also the presence of anisotropic forces in solutions rich in the molecular component.
