Abstract The thermal and elastic properties of weak ferroelectrics TSCC and (Li1-x,Nax)2Ge7O15 were investigated and compared within Janovec-Pippard relations. The difference between critical regions for thermal and elastic properties was estimated and explained. The effect of impurities for (Li1-xNax)2Ge7O15 system and γ-irradiation for TSCC crystal upon critical fluctuation contribution is revealed.
