Аннотация
Nonlinear effects in thin conductors with open Fermi surfaces are investigated theoretically. It is shown that the intrinsic magnetic field of a steady-state current affects the dynamics of conduction electrons moving in open trajectories and interacting with the mirror surface of the sample, and generates low–frequency oscillations of the electric field. Analytic expressions for the oscillation frequencies are obtained, and a quantitative theory of this phenomenon is constructed.
