Abstract The temperature dependence of all nine independent components of elastic stiffness tensor Cαβ in the temperature range from 100 to 300 K are investigated. The section of phase and group velocities″ surfaces of ultrasonic waves (USW) by the symmetry plane of (100) kind, and the value of maximum deviation angle of energy flux of USW in temperature range from 100 to 650 K are calculated. The appearance of pseudo-isotropic state for the quasitransversal (QT) mode in the temperature range from 590 to 630 K in Cs2CuCl4 crystal is shown.
