Аннотация

Low-frequency internal friction and shear modulus of bismuth ceramics are investigated at various deformation amplitudes in the temperature range 4.2–300 K. A change in the internal friction background, a nonmonotonic temperature dependence of the shear modulus, and a low-temperature anomaly in internal frictions at T = 0.3Tc are observed during the superconducting transition. The results of investigations point towards a weakening of bismuth ceramics at T < Tc and towards an analogy between inelastic deformation in the superconducting states of low-temperature and high-temperature superconductors.
