The effect of oxygen concentration on the microhardness of YBa2Cu3O7–δ single crystals in the temperature interval 77–293 K
Аннотация
The concentration dependence of the microhardness Hυ(δ) of two series of YBa2Cu3O7–δ single crystals is studied in the temperature range 77–293 K. The microhardness increases linearly with temperature, and the dependence Hυ(t) becomes stronger with increasing oxygen deficiency. An analysis of the results shows that the behavior of Hυ(δ,T) is due not to the variation of elastic properties of crystals, but to the effect of oxygen concentration and oxygen ordering on the nuclear structure and mobility of dislocations responsible for plastic deformation in the vicinity of the impression left by the indentor.
