Differential cross sections measurement for the pp→dπ+ reaction at 850MeV/c
Аннотация
A stack of annular detectors made of high purity germanium and a magnet spectrograph were used to measure $p\stackrel{\ensuremath{\rightarrow}}{p}d{\ensuremath{\pi}}^{+}$ differential cross sections at a beam momentum of $850\mathrm{MeV}/c$ over a large angular range. A total cross section of $\ensuremath{\sigma}=0.2301\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.0036(\mathrm{stat})\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.0230(\mathrm{syst})$ mb and an anisotropy ${A}_{2}{/A}_{0}=0.856\ifmmode\pm\else\textpm\fi{}0.016$ were deduced. These values follow fits to low energy data. From the present ${A}_{2}$ value it is found that the pionic p-wave amplitude ${a}_{0}$ is larger than assumed so far.
