The Half-Sib Progeny Test On Superior Plants of Larix olgensis Primary Seed Orchard and the Selection for Superior Families

Аннотация

The height,diameter at breast height and volume of 37 families from 19-years-old progeny testing forests of Larix olgensis primary seed orchard were analyzed.The result showed that there were greatly significant variations in these three characters among these families.Moreover,the height,diameter at breast height and volume was in very significant positive correlation.10 superior families with good growth performance were selected from 37 openly pollinated families mainly according to standing volume in combination with height and diameter at breast height indices.
