Study on γ-ray Energy Response and Anti-neutron Ability of CeF_3 Crystal

The Monte Carlo method and theoretical analysis of nuclear physics were both used to study γ-ray energy response tendency of CeF3 crystal,and coherent experiments were done to measure the sensitivity for neutron and γ-ray with different energies of the scintillation detector,which is made up of CeF3 crystal and photomultiplier tube.The results show that CeF3 crystal has a flat γ-ray energy response curve in the energy range of 0.3 MeV~0.9 MeV and strong anti-neutron-interference ability.
