Comparative Study on the Staining Effect of Two Nucleic Acid Dyestuffs

This study compare the staining effect and their sensitivity of Genefinder and Goldview to DNA in the gels by staining before electrophoresis and after electrophoresis.The result showed that the staining effect of Genefinder was better than Goldview by staining before electrophoresis;the staining effect of Genefinder and Goldview was uniform by staining after electrophoresis;but the sensitivity was betteri by staining before electrophoresis.It is recommended to use before electrophoresis method when using new type of nucleic acid dye.
