The Different Nursing Models of Care Elderly Patients in Department of Cardiology for Improving the Quality Sleep Effect

Objective: To explore the different models of care in improving the quality of sleep effect of patients in the department of cardiology. Method: Two hundred elderly patients in department of cardiology were randomly selected in the hospital, and randomly divided into two groups, each group of 100 cases. The control group was given routine care and sleep health education; The experiment group was given appropriate nursing mode according to the specific circumstances of nursing base on routine care and sleep health education. The nursing mode might include the following measures: psychological nursing, behavior guidance, guidance, rational drug use schedule arrangements, good environment. The two groups were compared in the different stages of sleep nursing quality and the Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI) score. Result: There were no statistical significance in the rate of PSQI7 between the experiment group and the control group(P0.05). The rate of PSQI7 of the experiment group were significantly higher than the control group(P0.05)after 1 week and 2 weeks, and the difference between the two groups were statistically significant(P0.05). Conclusion: The specific circumstances of nursing in department of cardiology for elderly patients with insomnia, can obviously improve the quality of sleep, is conducive to the support of patients with disease resistance, early rehabilitation.
