Research Advances on Biological Control of Opisina arenosella(Walker)

Аннотация

The coconut caterpillar, Opisina arenosella Walker, which cause serious damage to palm plants,is an important invasive and quarantine pest during recent years in our country and its control has recently become a critical concern. The current status in the research of biological control of O. arenosella was reviewed in the application of parasitoids and predatory insects and viluses. Discussion was also made on the future research direction in this field.
