Аннотация

Important in asthma pathogenesis belongs free radical oxidation and protection factors of the antioxidant imbalance there between which cause the secretion of inflammatory mediators due to the destruction of lung tissue inhibiting the activity of protease inhibitors, the development of pulmonary fibrosis, and enhancing the appearance of bronchial obstruction, activation of mast cells. An investigated of 55 patients with asthma. The control group consisted of 25 healthy individuals. Condition catalase and peroxidase activity was assessed by measuring changes in electrode potential an electrochemical cell operating according to the method of displacement which occurs during the oxidation reaction 5 aminosalicylic acid hydrogen peroxide solution. In patients with moderate and severe asthma severity was found a significant decrease in the activity of peroxidase to 0,012±0,001 micromol, whereas in the group of healthy, this indicator averaged 0,019±0,002 micromol. In the study of the activity of catalase was found that asthma patients with moderate and severe degrees of severity observed decline to 13,0±0,5 micromol (at 17,9±0,8 micromol in the control group). Thus, the study of the activity levels of catalase and peroxidase showed that BA heavy flow during the exacerbation is accompanied by an imbalance of enzymes level of performance at various stages of antioxidant defense. Determination of the antioxidant profile and a differentiated approach to patients with asthma, depending on the severity of the disease increases the capabilities needed to achieve disease control and, no doubt, helps to optimize therapy.
